I'd say the root of the problem is narcissistic behavior which is foundational in all Cluster B Personality Disorders. Narcissism is marked by a sense of entitlement and grandiosity with little or no true empathy. Narcissists and the world-view devotees in their spheres of influence play zero-sum games. These antagonistic and power-hungry personalities invalidate and gaslight anyone who challenges their false-self identity or distorted motivated reasoning.

Money? Many of these evil doers have more money than they can possibly ever spend. So why are they still at it?
What drives Victoria Nuland, or Anthony Fauci, for instance? It must be the greatest high in the world to have so much power you can topple governments, bring societies to their knees, create lie campaigns and sit back and watch the world react.

Excuse the forced metaphor if it comes across that way but it was my immediate thought and it got dusty real quick. I imagined the dog as our children (my daughter), masked, frightened, trying SO hard to be brave and Jason (me) as parents trying so hard to protect them and the ice our schools, scared adults, scared daycare, other scared kids, evil forces. It ain't easy protecting our little ones from the sickness in this world. But as this video shows it is no match whatsoever for true goodness and selflessness.
Why I went there is because I remember being so angry by adults who said kids were resilient, which was such a chickensh1lt, cowardly excuse for forcing them to bear the brunt of their own spiritual vapidness. And because some talking head said it once, every covidian on earth repeated it ad nauseum; I can still hear my 3 y.os daycare lady's whiny voice parroting it when I told her not to put a mask on my daughter.
I worked with them. It wasn't resilience, it was f$-#ing bravery. I know because I worked with them and they were terrified because they were quite literally told there was death everywhere, they might kill someone, constantly reminded by the incessant mask shriekers. But the only way anyone would know that is if they asked. I did and they told me.
