When I try to get my head around the general public's inability to see what's really happening, I remember the quote, "Kill one man, you're a murderer; kill a million, and you could be King." Meaning, when the crime is so inconceivably BIG, it would create too much cognitive dissonance for most people to accept that their Leaders are capable of such enormous evil, so instead, they line up in support of whatever excuse was given to justify the crime (in this case -- genocide.)

The root of the problem is disconnection. Disconnection from nature, from other people and from our deeper self. Disconnection is perpetuated through trauma, it is the only state we have known for a very long time. But slowly we are finding ways out of this nightmare, by healing connections one at a time.
