So I have to live in exile, for the rest of my life, for the sin of [*checks notes*] opposing genocide and supporting science, logic, and reason? It's hard to overstate how profoundly weird that is. The people in Exileville are the best people. But the bourgeois’ rejection of all that it is good and right and true is strange to the point of being incomprehensible.
Tribalism
I massively, massively, massively underestimated the role of tribalism in knowledge. The tribe sets the parameters for what can be debated and the lenses through which data are understood. The metaphysics, ontology, and epistemology of the tribe are based on the economic interests of the tribe.
Good Germans everywhere

Copper
I’m fascinated by Jason Hommel’s work on the benefits of supplementing with copper. Copper and iodine are two massively important and often overlooked healing substances that I intend to write much more about in the future.
Recently I stumbled upon a two-page article that Jason wrote a few years ago titled, “The Depression/Suicide Awareness Note.” It’s a masterpiece. The information in this article can and will save someone’s life.

Yes, that has been the most disappointing for me too. I have to think tribalism is an important part of that but doesn't explain it all. Thank God for communities like those we find on substack.
