Discernment, vanity, morale, Russian games, history repeats itself, new house, follow the money, the Leftovers, normalizing childhood myocarditis, ideology, smash and grab job, caring kitten
Here are my latest thinking points:
Discernment
Actual science begins with proper methods, e.g.:
• appropriate study design,
• registered clinical trials,
• large sample sizes,
• long observation periods,
• randomized,
• double-blinded,
• rigorous statistics,
conducted by people following Mertonian norms of:
• communalism,
• universalism,
• disinterestedness, and
• organized skepticism.
Then there is Pharma junk science that is characterized by:
• financial conflicts of interest,
• manipulated study design,
• captured regulators,
• deviations from protocol,
• small sample sizes,
• short observation periods,
• bad record keeping,
• data manipulation,
• inappropriate statistical analysis,
• drawing sweeping conclusion from weak data,
• suppression or censorship of data that does not fit a predetermined narrative,
• bullying, gaslighting, and blacklisting of scientists who ask hard questions.
Knowing the difference between actual science and Pharma junk science is a matter of life and death these days.
The FDA and CDC do NOT engage in actual science. Everything they do is Pharma junk science. Those who fail to understand this fundamental truth are not going to make it.
Vanity prevents them from admitting that they are wrong
It must be completely humiliating to be a bougiecrat right now:
• you believed in the thing,
• you swore on your mama’s life that it would work,
• you did the thing 2, 3, 4, 5+ times,
• the thing hurt you and left you feeling miserable for days/weeks/months/years,
• the thing did not work and you still got the ro’,
• a friend, neighbor, or co-worker died suddenly without any explanation other than the thing,
• you have a nagging suspicion that some of your actions over the last 2 and a half years were unethical and unwise,
• and now the FDA just flat out admitted that they hate science and the American people by skipping clinical trials.
So what is to be done?
• more scapegoating and projection onto the people who have been right since the beginning I imagine.

The Leftovers
I’ve never seen anyone else discuss this but it seems to me that the HBO drama The Leftovers is clearly about autism. The plot is that 2% of the world’s population just suddenly disappears and everyone is left to deal with the emotional aftermath. 2%. “Sudden Departure.” That seems pretty on the nose — the inexplicable event that everyone is responding to is a metaphor for the autism epidemic.
But the creator of the show (and author of the original novel), Tom Perrotta, does not understand this. That’s what I mean by “the base determines the superstructure.” 95% of our thoughts are unconscious. So for 28 episodes broadcast over three years this cast and crew and the audience of millions worked through the emotional upheaval and dislocation caused by a world that suddenly does not make sense anymore. Yet no one acknowledges that we were having a national conversation about autism when talking about the show because the cognitive guardrails set up by our society will not allow us to name the crime against humanity that has occurred.
So we are allowed to have a conversation about this world-historical change that has occurred so long as we never acknowledge that we are having that conversation. We are left with a culture that is profoundly shaped by autism, where we desperately need to have a conversation about what is happening, even while most of our society is dedicated to covering it up.
Watching the Leftovers is traumatic. It’s one of the most jarring TV shows ever produced. And yet the final episode of the final season is one of the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen.

Because vaccine injury is a mad money making business.
The problem with ideology
I’ve come to the conclusion that ideologies are just the post hoc rationales used by the tribe to justify the actions it was always going to take anyway in pursuit of its economic interests.
Weaponized values
It infuriates me that Pharma has weaponized 1960s left values to increase their profits — and the left has not protested this appropriation one bit.
Climate change is used to cover up vaccine-induced heart attacks. No one in the environmental movement says a peep.
Acceptance of gender fluidity is weaponized to cover up vaccine injury (gender dysphoria, autism) and propel the multibillion dollar sex change industry. Yet the established LGBT community is silent.
Support for Jewish people and other religious minorities is weaponized to say that we can never have a conversation about the ways in which U.S. society today resembles 1930s Germany. Blocking that conversation is extremely valuable to Pharma. Some Rabbis have spoken out against this. But the notion that fascism is a singular event confined to one time and place is an offense against all of those who perished.
It’s like Pharma just backed a truck up to the Progressive Values Factory; stole everything; modified core values in order to maim people, make money, and implement global totalitarianism; and the left is just out there smoking a cigarette on the loading dock saying, “Sounds good to me.” What!? What the heck happened to the left? Is there no one remaining in that tribe who is capable of logic and reason!? Quite literally the worst industry in the world stole the left’s most cherished values and no one on the left is the slightest bit offended by this (even though they are offended by everything else)!? We live in the bizarro upside down world.
By the way, the number of my former left comrades who have publicly spoken up for my right to bodily sovereignty over the last two years even if they disagree with me (you know, Voltaire and all that), is zero.

What truly and deeply offends me about the child myocarditis ad is not the bold attempt to profit off of the pain of children, even though that is horribly offensive. What really offends me is that the hospital bigwigs who came up with that video campaign must know there will be a rise in myocarditis caused by the vaccines that they are undoubtedly advising that children receive even now. There's no reason to run that ad otherwise. They just want you to know, as a parent, that when you bring your kid to them and then inject your kid with poison that you should be sure to bring them to the hospital where they will do nothing useful for $20,000. That ad sums up the medical establishment in one tidy little package.
I feel very angry thinking about the amazing foreknowledge of that hospital's administrators in anticipating a rise in child myocarditis.
Long time liberal who values free speech, non-intervention, and fiscal responsibility. You can imagine how many friends i have! Where have all the values gone? Thank you for your work. A bit of sanity in an insane world.
