Stop wearing masks, go to city council and school board meetings, stop watching MSM, dig deeper to become more informed, stop using Google (DuckDuckGo is a fantastic alternative, especially when paired with The Onion Relay browser (TOR).), look into how the law, constitutions, etc. can be used to our benefit to oust both elected and unelected 'officials.'

I've seen and heard this several places and I think it could certainly work. Though, I'd recommend a lawyer helping (even though not required, you don't want to screw something like this up.)
The expense of a lawyer is not necessary. This is a public citizen filing claim against their elected public official to perform as promised or resign. It's more like a Notice of Liability letter.
Standing up and saying no has always been the answer. The narrative began crumbling - particularly with masks, by April 2020. (There were plenty of studies that proved it was nonsensical.) When citizens go along with irrational demands they become complicit. That's why we're where we are.
April 2020 might have been a little early depending on which part of the country you lived in, but certainly by May and if people were still believing it after the protests of the Summer (which weren't called super-spreader events, while political events WERE called that).... well people just weren't paying attention.

Take any YouTube video you want to watch, and where it says "youtube" change it to "hooktube". You'll be able to watch the video but avoid youtube.
I've been doing my best to avoid as much big Tech as I can for a really long time, as have many others. A lot of options exist, you just have to go looking for them.

Yeah I'm not sure its a matter of "there are far more of us" in the sense that a majority are anti mandate. But there are far more of us that care far more. Our lives are affected by this. If people for and against mandates are 50/50, but most of the ones against mandates are negatively affected and most of the ones for mandates only think about it when the television tells them to think about it, then the anti mandate ones have significantly more political power. This is being balanced out by a propaganda and fear campaign against our side, but that seems to be losing steam as more and more of the pro-mandate ones are turning into "we need to learn to live with covid ones". Ironically, the live with covid ones are just the people that share the views we anti mandate ones had all along. The difference is they don't want to admit they were wrong and we were right.
Is there far more anti mandate people right now? I doubt it. But there are far more of us have skin in the game that are willing to pay a heavy price to end the totalitarian edicts. Ask an anti mandate trucker in Ottawa, and they'll stay in the cold for months to end this. Ask a pro mandate person in Ottawa, and they'd end it tomorrow for a good nights sleep. Many politicians don't realize that yet, but the ones who do are going to capitalize and the people like Trudeau in hardliner positions are going to find themselves holding the grenade on this one.
As I said below, I think it depends on where you live. I think the bigger issue is that people are unsure how to fight it. As @Gram said, Surety Bonds might be the way to go. And if it is for all elected officials, they should be used against School Boards, City Councils, mayors, etc.

Probably depends on where you live. Because I was fired for not taking the shot, I can't not admit to it on job apps and interviews. I did my small part yesterday and sent an email to every single FDA/CDC/possible committee member to beg them to stop this vaccine madness.
I still can't get over the fact that so many of my "educated" friends are not only blind to what is happening, but maintain positions on other issues that are fundamentally inconsistent. The most recent are people who advocate for banning Joe Rogan due to his spreading of misinformation, but at same time claim that no one should be allowed to remove books like Gender Queer from middle schools -- books that contain sexually explicit images that have nothing to do with academics.
They rationalize this because the First Amendment does not apply to private companies, but does apply to schools. They ignore the entire reason why we protect free speech to begin with, not to mention the developmental differences between a child who has no choice in the curriculum vs an adult who is not forced to listen to a podcast. Politicized GroupThink is so deeply entrenched that there is no room for rational debate.
Meanwhile my MD and advanced-science-degree friends do not seem to understand what "follow the science" means and they have vaxxed their own children based on nothing more than "safe and effective" empty assurances.
I am beside myself. I have nothing to talk about with these people except the weather.
I am a boomer - right in there and born in 1949. I can spot a false narrative and lots of others my age can. My daughter is on the other side and that is 27 years beyond the boomers so don’t generalized about boomers. Otherwise, well done as always.
