I had a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) for 16 years, from 6 weeks old to her passing at 16 in 2022. Her name was Roxy and she was the BEST dog ever. She wasn’t as ‘athletic’ (as far as being a big runner), as the Heeler in the video, but she loved to swim and get float toys out in The Bay and the Beach where I live in SoCA. My favorite picture of the both of us was when she was young and we were at OB Dog Beach in San Diego, CA.

I feel like I've done nothing but follow the truth, as best as I can discover it, from about spring 2021, when I read Nicholas Wade's Medium piece and forever lost my grip on the matrix. Now I wake up, drink my coffee, work some puzzles, see what Toby has to say, and read obituaries. The rest of the newspaper (as a concept not a tangible thing) is just lies and distractions. A horrible thing is happening: I'm adjusting to it. I no longer expect honesty or integrity. I laugh at the depravity, still sometimes get enraged, but mostly I try to survive and maintain sanity. Some doofus at The Atlantic wrote a couple years ago in an article about Trump that, as American institutions decay, we would become a nation of isolated people focused on self-improvement and resigned to the fact that we live in a morally bankrupt society. I worry he was right in his conclusion, though wrong about the rest of it. As shocking as all these revelations have been for me, I remember that guys like Toby and Bobby have known this stuff for a very long time. I salute them for not giving up all this time.

Yes, sometimes the things claimed as reasons for current health disasters are actually harmful in their own right, and others are just ridiculous (then again, I don't know, maybe 3 people a year do die because of turning the clocks back or something. But the point is we;re way way beyond what any of those things can explain).
And, of course, adding poison shots on top of the toxic soup we're in, can be the last straw. A sweet man who walked my dog died of cardiac arrest at age 40. They said he had congenital heart disease. All the more reason adding these poisons can push a heart to destruction.
