I suggest there is one more body of work that should be included that was written in the 21st century. It's from UNESCO based on the October 2003, 32 C/Res. 24 mission to “set universal standards in the field of bioethics with due regard for human dignity and human rights and freedoms, in the spirit of cultural pluralism inherent in bioethics.” http://portal.unesco.org/en/ev.php-URL_ID=31058&URL_DO=DO_TOPIC&URL_SECTION=201.html

”Any preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic medical intervention is only to be carried out with the prior, free and informed consent of the person concerned, based on adequate information. The consent should, where appropriate, be express and may be withdrawn by the person concerned at any time and for any reason without disadvantage or prejudice.” - UNESCO on Medical Consent in Bioethics and Human Rights, Article 6 (2005)

”The interests and welfare of the individual should have priority over the sole interest of science or society.” - UNESCO documents on Medical Consent in Bioethics and Human Rights, Article 3 (2005)

“No individual or group should be discriminated against or stigmatized on any grounds, in violation of human dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms.” - UNESCO documents on Medical Consent in Bioethics and Human Rights, Article 11 (2005)

“In no case should a collective community agreement or the consent of a community leader or other authority substitute for an individual’s informed consent.” - UNESCO documents on Medical Consent in Bioethics and Human Rights, Article 6, Section 3 (2005)

Huge thank you, Toby. The informed consent piece seems most broken of all. My brother has desperately tried to get his ex-wife not to inject his children, but she did it anyway and didn't tell him (his 8 year old told him). Ex wife's reasoning was that she gave the 8 and 10 year old the choice. No - children want to fit in with their peers and panicked teachers - not to mention that children that age can't even make a choice like this of their own accord. My brother is sick about it. My prayer is that all of the truth will come out, perhaps after all the Pfizer data drops, and as a society we will care for those who were injured. And of course, we will stop the madness of injecting people who can't really consent (children, those who are threatened with job loss, and everyone who doesn't have access to accurate information on trial data, fraud during the trials, adverse events, etc.).

Toby, thank you, from all the loving aunts, parents and citizens - and please keep going. 🙏
