I see Naomi Klein as trapped in an alternate reality of her own making. She is now heavily emotionally committed to convincing the world that her autistic child is normal. There is an alternate reality where autism is normal; on their Discord website, but in the real world there are multiple ways to end up neurodiverse, with a developmental handicap, and vaccines are top of the list of causes. Her child will have had childhood vaccinations, as her father is a pediatrician of some note, so denial will be top of their agenda. A mother will protect her childs right to be different to the bitter end, so dont go there.
You have picked the worst example with Naomi Klein, as she has gone down the autistic rabbit hole after her child, and cannot accept that they could be vaccine damaged. That would mean that her childs condition was not a variation of normal, but a developmental disorder. You shouldnt let her deluded reality rock your boat too much, cos there are plenty more where she came from, busy defending their childs right to be neurodiverse. That is a rabbit hole that you dont need to go down.
