The base determines the superstructure
Why so many of our friends betray us
See, here’s the thing:
In every era there are the particular ways that we obtain resources (food, sex, companionship, energy, shelter, land, gold, power, joy).
The economic stages that society has gone through over the last 20,000 years include hunter gatherers, agrarian societies, agrarian empires, industrial societies, industrial empires, chemical industries, computers, and now this bizarre 4th Industrial Revolution global Pharma/surveillance/AI/fascist dystopia.
Then there are the stories that we tell about why it is good, true, and beautiful for us to keep obtaining these resources and gain even more, in the ways that we do….
So culture, law, and religion (sorry to say) are downriver from economics.
Economics shapes everything — aesthetics, values, behaviors, beliefs, myths, laws, institutions, militaries, wars, religious practices, hopes, dreams, fears, entertainment, desires… If your survival depends on obtaining resources in a certain way, your brain will usually find ways to tell you that this is the right thing to do.
The massive problem that we face today is that lots of people make their money, directly or indirectly, from the pharmaceutical industry.
Healthcare (sickcare) makes up about 20% of the economy, so they are all captured. Television depends almost entirely on Pharma ads (so that also implicates the advertising and public relations industries). Huge swaths of government and academia are inextricably tied to Pharma. Your retirement portfolio likely contains Pharma stocks. Pharma funds the philanthropic sector. Even if you don’t work for Pharma or one of these affiliated industries, often a family member, friend, or neighbor does. Pharma touches nearly every aspect of our society.
So our society tells all of these stories about how good, true, and beautiful it is to do whatever Pharma wants.
That’s Anderson Cooper having Bill Gates on TV every Saturday night for a fireside chat about how great Pharma is; teachers’ unions and elite universities believing (against all evidence) that their students are disease-ridden and turning them over to the drug cartel; Pope Francis telling the faithful that getting vaccinated against the coronavirus is a “moral obligation”; celebrity influencers telling their fans to get vaccinated; the Academy Awards and 60 Minutes being sponsored by Pfizer; shows like House and ER glorifying the medical profession; Sesame Street running ads, disguised as content, targeted toward kids, for the drug cartel; you can surely think of hundreds of additional examples because this nonsense is everywhere. The WEF, WHO, UN, FDA, CDC, NIH, USAID, State Department, and the White House are all subsidiaries of Pharma at this point.
But, it turns out that Pharma’s products, particularly vaccines, are poorly tested, toxic, and deadly….
So mainstream culture, law, and religion are built to serve a set of products that are causing death, disability, cancer, and infertility.
The U.S. produces and exports iatrogenocide. That’s the economic base of this country.
This is not sustainable. But the reason the fighting is so fierce is because when we say ‘hey, these products are not what you think they are...’ we collide with an entire culture that has built its identity around the notion that this industry is good, true, and beautiful.
That’s why everything is so miserable right now. And those who make their living, directly or indirectly, from this industry seek to crush any independent source of power outside this industry — which is why they persecute independent churches/pastors, families, and critical thinkers so fiercely.
The misery is going to continue until we can find a better industry to replace Pharma’s central role in our economy.
As long as a huge chunk of our society is making its living from the drug cartel, our society is going to keep telling stories about how good, true, and beautiful it is.
It is not enough for us to say no. We have to say, “no and do this instead” (and then go and build it).
This is the revolution we seek — dismantle Pharma while building the sane, healthy, joyful alternative.
Blessings to the warriors. 🙌
Prayers for the vaccine-injured and everyone fighting to stop the iatrogenocide. 🙏
Huzzah for everyone working to build the better world our hearts know is possible. ✊
In the comments, please share your suggestions on what industry we replace Pharma with and any other thoughts you may have.
As always, I welcome any corrections.
