Pity I can’t share an image but I saw a meme something along the lines of…if I don’t take the vaccine I’m 100% safe from vaccine side effects and 99.8% protected from Covid. I like those odds 👍

A friend sent me the following :

It inspired me to write a piece about red flags

I am interested your disagreement that science is a new religion. Your basis for objection, if I have understood correctly, is that this religion’s object of veneration is not really science.

But organized religion (perhaps more correctly the generic term ‘churches’ should be used) has historically and invariably falsified its object. For discerning believers, the god of doctrine is not at all their God of personal experience — the church is little more than a channel of social expression. Yet there are weaker-minded adherents who fully subscribe to the falsified god and will, as history has shown, even go so far as to commit all kinds of atrocities in its name at the behest of their ‘infallible’ leaders, whose words, no matter how self-contradictory, are seen as immutable truth. Those who maintain a clearer view of the values implied by the God that they know, and who are committed to upholding those values not only in word but in deed, will immediately sever relations with the church once its social repercussions diverge with those values, particularly if they don’t believe that they can change the church from within. Such brave souls are, as we know, labeled heretics and are frequently subject to ‘excommunication’ at the very least, if not vilification and persecution.

I see many parallels in today’s religion (church) of ‘science’.

And, in fact, your observation of the left’s recent inversion regarding the wisdom of the ‘working class’ applies as well. What was the anti-religion motivation of the traditional left other than rebellion against the intellectual hegemony of the church?

Now the left willingly submits itself to the chains of intellectual bondage that they falsely call ‘science’ and enthusiastically endorse atrocities (a pattern with the left) that, in even the recent past, would have engendered revulsion in at least some them.

It’s high time for the discerning adherents of leftism to be brave, uphold their values, and abandon and repudiate today’s so-called left, which is a grotesque parody of the values for which the left has, for 170 years, claimed to stand.

What a gorgeous comment! Thank you! 🙌 Yes, I'm just dealing with the literal meanings of science and religion and assuming that each is real and meaningful in its own way. But as you point out, and I imagine as Foucault meant when he made this comparison 40 years ago, religion indeed can "falsify its object." So if we proceed on that basis, that neither religion nor science are able to live up to their stated ideals and so tend to retreat to a series of misrepresentations, then the comparison is apt. I'm fascinated by your point here (if I'm understanding it correctly) -- that there is still a reality there -- a proper science and a personal experience of God that is possible -- but that human institutions invariably mess that up. So many layers here -- I will be chewing on this comment for the next few days. Thank you again!

Love your take on things!

I think the tide is turning. Behold the official narrative, posted at the NIH:

"The COVID-19 outbreak in China was first reported publicly on December 31, 2019. By the second week of January 2020, researchers in China published the DNA sequence of SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

The VRC worked with a company called Moderna to use this information to quickly customize their prototype approach to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. By early February, a COVID-19 vaccine candidate had been designed and manufactured. This vaccine is called mRNA-1273. By March 16, 2020, this vaccine had entered the first phase of clinical trials."

Source: covid19.nih.gov/news-and-stories/vaccine-development

So, they claim a never-before-seen virus was discovered in December, it's rna sequenced by January, a vaccine designed by February, and tested on humans in March.

Yet, the Delta variant is blamed for more deaths, was discovered in October 2020. Where is the Delta Vaccine?

The stench of giant global government screwup and coverup is adrift, and will eventually turn everyone against the COVID CON.

Peace.

"These people are psychotic genocidal clowns who defile science in pursuit of personal wealth & power."

Much appreciated reading this. The sentiments chime with mine exactly. Funny how my political viewpoint has shifted 180° since the start of the scam, because I agree that we effectively have pure fascism in the purest sense of business and policians working in unison for maximum graft and profit. This will be faught with every fibre of my being.

My take is that the virus was engineered and 'escaped' to create a market for the mRNA technology. They were itching to unleash this on humanity and the delivery mechanism was all there, ready and waiting in 2019.

Some of the best things I’ve read this week:

1/12 "While working as an NP in family practice & urgent care for yrs I learned there's ALoT of people who want to be sick, in fact will get rage when you tell them they're not."

2/12 Jennifer Margulis by newsletter:

" Warren called on Amazon to stop selling Mercola’s book, The Truth About COVID-19, because it contains vaccine misinformation. Warren accuses the book of perpetuating “dangerous conspiracies about COVID-19 and false and misleading information about vaccines.”

So, explain this to me like I’m a second grader: It’s okay for Amazon to sell Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf (which has 2,124 mostly 5-star reviews), but not okay to sell an exhaustively researched, fact-checked book that offers a science-based critique of the current COVID crisis? [......]

3/12 "It is an art to convince unvaccinated people that vaccines work, so they get it, and at the same time persuade double-vaxxed minions that they don’t, so they’ll line up to get their booster shots."

The two ideological options we’re given are hedonism and extinctionism. We’re told that either human life is pointless or that it’s bad (‘destroying the Earth’). It’s likely you read the previous tweet with one in mind.

The plutocracy is the source of this paucity of ambition and of the ideologies of hedonism and extinctionism, but it’s not enough to simply overturn the plutocracy. We need to know where we’re going".

Of course that’s not science. But they call it science, or “the science”, or Fauci: “I am science”. And its believers, pious shitcans devoted to the shitshow, they “fucking love science”, excommunicate non-believers, and are perfectly willing to kill them, or cheer as they’re killed. Science is completely defiled and turned into a (very shitty) religion

Too many good points to choose, Toby, but the Fauci post certainly rings true. I'm looking forward to receiving my book "The real Anthony Fauci...," (Kennedy, 2021) which already reached #1. Mine is on the way, but the book is now on back-order. I was thinking, I should have bought a bunch to give to family and friends.

Something that resonated with me this week: Bruce Pardy, Canadian Lawyer and one of 100 lawyers initiating the True North Declaration, which includes this statement:

"In our system of law, no principle is more important than the right to control your own body and to make your own medical and health decisions. An anxious populace, swept up in a deliberate campaign of fear, now believes that individual liberties upon which our liberal democracy is founded are dangerous and selfish. A growing collectivism that demands safety at the expense of autonomy shapes public policy."

I belatedly encountered Julia Yost’s eviscerating critique of “The Body Keeps the Score” this week - https://www.firstthings.com/article/2021/10/by-our-wounds-we-are-healed - the topic is a bit esoteric but such a precise dissection of intellectual fraud is still profoundly satisfying.

Hi

We had a professor of paediatrics (plus other awards) give a presentation to us and said the following:

You can only get herd immunity from the vaccine

It is safe to give the vaccine to children.

He was encouraging boosters as well.

I never had the opportunity to ask questions as his session was over running but I was shocked at the lies he was saying.
