Three additional thoughts this morning:

1. Ms. Klein appears to be vaccine injured herself. Trying to get treatment for her back pain is a theme that runs throughout the book. She's not that old (53), does not describe a back injury, and does not have a regular practitioner so that suggests it's a new development. Severe back pain is a known side effect of the Moderna mRNA shots.

2. Toward the end of the book, Ms. Klein describes her vision for the utopian future. And it's totalitarian. There is no individual "I". Everything is collective in service of the greater good. Because people can pass viruses to each other (so her logic goes) of course the state must have access to your body and force you to get vaccinated. It's truly chilling.

3. I'm struck by the number of high profile bougie lefties, who I formerly respected, who have endorsed this book. On the one hand, if a friend asks for an endorsement, one usually gives it. But their blurbs go well beyond this. It struck me this morning -- 'wait, are all lefties experiencing this sort of doubling, splitting, disassociation from reality?' Ms. Klein's situation is unique -- special needs child, father a pediatrician. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that lots of people on the political left are psychologically splitting, "shattering" would be a better description, in response to the events of the last three years. They see themselves as progressive heroes, but they also support fascism, the end of liberal democracy, & state tyranny, all in the name of fighting a virus created by the state. That sort of cognitive dissonance would wreak havoc upon one's psyche. Then add in these toxic clot shots that are causing neurological injury -- it would make sense that many bougie lefties (perhaps even the majority?) would be experiencing vertigo, doubling, doppelgangers, and all sorts of other hallucinatory maladies.

Klein was called out early in the plandemic in a Zoom interview (I'm not sure but I think it may have been with Dr. Christiane Northrup) where you could see her visibly falter and become speechless in the face of her own contradictions. That was the last time I saw her speak publicly during the plandemic. Shortly after that I saw that she had appeared at a meeting of the WEF and by the look on her face you could tell this was no longer a happy woman. It was a look that practically screamed: "I'm a sellout and I know it." Ironic that Klein is now Gloria Steinem Endowed Chair in Media, Culture, and Feminist Studies given that, as Naomi Wolf has pointed out, feminists were dead silent about the horrific harms to pregnant women from the jab.
