Love the data nerds! They think logically:

1- Given that Pharma has a fiduciary responsibility to increase profits, corporate decision making is based on these facts:

a. Treating chronic disease is very profitable (repeat business)

b. Curing disease is not highly profitable (short term)

c. Causing chronic disease is financially lucrative (creating a dependable market)

2- Therefore, the interests of the pharmaceutical companies are in conflict with the interests of both individuals and humanity.

Very well said and concisely too. Agree with all of it. I reviewed the book Woke, Inc in one of my Substack Search For Truth articles, Woke Capitalism, which details how corporate law and trends are influencing social values and politics. Interesting the author, Vivek Ramaswamy, this week announced he plans to run for US president.

Let me see... mRNA gene therapies produce certain (ahem) side effects, for which the drug company has a solution in the form of another drug, which may in turn have its own side effects, which would require another drug to counter the side effects...

Do you have any thoughts on the shingles vaccine? I went to the dr for a sore shoulder and they offered me the shingles vax! I refused of course, but I would love to learn more about it.

Thank you for all that you do! Cancer will never end if we don't start eradicating the cause. Everyone also needs to know about Redox Molecules and how they turn the body's ability to heal back on. I am doing my part by offering a FREE 20 min. Webinar on Redox Molecules. cathey@catheypainter.com

I thought Joe Biden said he would end cancer? I know, that's probably about as likely as me becoming a billionaire.

One could argue that corporations in general are bad. And even worse than corporations, non-profits... every evil entity trying to usher in the New Normal b.s. along with 15-minute bug cities uses them to control agencies, justice, and money.

Flat tax, no tax breaks, LLC's instead of corporations, term limits. We really need a do-over.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the difference in this context between an LLC and a corporation?

I await this response, as well.

So true! Just viewed a great video on 'The Pulse' with Christopher Exley, the aluminum scientist. He drinks a litre of water that is rich in silicon to facilitate elimination of aluminum from the kidneys. How's this for hypocrisy, one of the pharma drugs prescribed for Alzheimer patients has a yellow hue from a lake colorant. He said lake colors contain aluminum. Also, the effects on the body from ingested aluminum differ from those that are injected. He says they have found a definite link between aluminum adjuvants and autism. Yes, companies are obliged to produce profits for their shareholders, but within the bounds of not breaking the law, or hurting people.

The problem is CRONY CAPITALISM. No government? No problem.

So, corporations will just regulate themselves? LOL Where has this ever worked??

Expand full comment

Consumers will regulate corporations, who will make wiser decisions if they want to survive and thrive. Government "regulation" of corporations is the biggest scam of all-time.

Expand full comment

If you wish for a company like Pfizer not to have to undergo any government regulation and simply trust that what they sell you is safe and effective, good luck with that. You can't make "wiser decisions" if you are dead. The fact that the current regulatory system in the US is profoundly corrupt is a separate issue. Big gov may not be ideal, but unleashed corporate power is far worse.

For the record, not to worry! I will never buy any product that Pfizer has ever touched. And, as I said, true regulation is done by consumers, not governments.

Hmm. Did you miss the part where the government endlessly promoted, indeed, mandated the poisons, with money they stole from us?

Good explanation on how pharma companies really work. What I always find that's amazing about this industry and it furthers your point that they are not in the business of curing, is the fact that there is always a new drug out for a condition that already supposedly had a drug that helped.

Or once a generic version comes out then they push a newer drug on you. Notice I said push, because Doctors are pretty much just drug pushers for pharma.

One example is antacids. There are probably 30 different types of antacids or acid reducers either prescribed or sold over the counter.

Seriously? They can't find one main one after all these years that pretty much works on everyone??? Instead you've got - Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid, Zantac, Tagamet, Zegerid, Pepcid (Famotidine), Gaviscon, Gelusil, Maalox, Mylanta, Rolaids, Alka-Seltzer, Tums, Pepto-Bismol, Milk of Magnesia, and probably the cheapest and one that works just as good as anything; plain old baking soda and warm water!!!

And my favorite one of all time, is the anti-depression drug that you should take if the anti-depression drug you already take isn't working good enough!!!! Huh? What? If it's not working good enough, then why are you taking it to begin with? That should be an eye opener right there. Linking as usual @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/

antacid? Helicobacter pylori, if you please (antibiotics plus a tablet to cut down the amount of stomach acid).

A few observations:

Your headline uses the word "misguided" but there's nothing misguided about what's going on. It's all very intentional. You seem to be mitigating this aspect, and letting Big Pharma off the hook because of a duty to shareholders.

Also: You said, "...as people come to love Big Pharma." When is that going to happen?

Finally (as I've mentioned before), I believe the word iatrogenocide suggests that the current slaughter is by accident. A more appropriate word for what is happening is democide.

Very logical article indeed; you've certainly laid it out there. Things SHOULD be changed....except that would require actual Statesmen, the stature of which the self-serving modern day Roman Senate mongrels who express its shadow archetype (Politician) are incapable of reaching. Consider the environment; our so-called "democracy" (otherwise known as Roman Senate 2.0 in D.C.) is also a corporation and every one of it's subsidiary entities (every agency, bureau, and department of both federal and state of state levels) is also a corporation. None of these entities are our actual governments, they are all government service contractors charged with providing LIMITED services to us through the contracts known as the Constitutions.

They have been masquerading as our governments while covering up the truth about the real, organic, unincorporated governments that authorized their very existance, and they've been enforcing their ever-growing numbers of corporate laws, statutes, regulations, executive orders, decrees et al...against their "U.S. citizens" who are 14th amendment taxpayers under statute. This political status is due to identity theft and personage, and is accomplished every time a new baby's birth certicate is recorded....and it has been going on since the 1930. Because these faux governments are all corporations, they can change their own rules whenever they want.....which is why they've used the excuse of covid to ignore "civil rights".

Realize that "civil rights" are a corporate construct and vastly different than Bill of Rights, which is what living men and women are owed. However, if you're a 14th Amendment "citizen" under statute, you're not considered a living man or woman, but are instead an employee of the corporation; and must abide by their rules. If you are a U.S. Citizen, you are NOT the American that you always thought you were.

- Probably most of us remember that public school education, as limited as it is, taught us that government by its very nature is NOT a business, and it may not be run like a business, and that America is a Constitutional Republic. How is it that so many people, knowing this, just knod their heads in slack-jawed, hypnotized agreement whenever some legislative minion or other talking head hysterically trumpets "xx is a threat to our democracy!!""?? This is an enormous cognitive dissonance; people need to start actually wondering why it is that the clown show is calling itself "our democracy" .... when America is a Constitutional Republic.

- Obviously, something is not right. Obviously, hiding in plain sight and openly being admitted is that the DC children of the corn are not our actual, real government.

-- Of course these mongrels and vermin are all supporting each others' profit models, colluding together to make sure that their cronies and shareholders continue to get richer and richer, while giving the middle finger to their employees and taxpayers, who are all their slaves and subject to polic(e) enforcement for "breaking the rules"! They are NOT going to hold each other accountable to anything...why would they? They do not care about people. Of course the growing, expanding ranks of three letter corporate agencies doing whatever they want to are being given the blessings; these entities are a huge part of the police state structure. They can do whatever they want to their 14th Amendment citizen slaves.....and guess what, by staying a US citizen and participating in the rules of their jurisdiction (asking permission through permitting, registrations, applications, et al)...you are also considered an enemy combatant under the International Rules of War. You think that the war time flag is your legitimate American flag, which it isn't. That is the depth of the deception that has been used against you your entire life.

- The sooner everyday people begin to realize that our actual government has been hijacked by racketeers and pirates, and begin to do the deep dive into how to get themselves out from underneath the bootheels of the democratic police state, the better. The three branches of American government are NOT "the legislative, the judicial, and the executive"; they are the Union, the Federation, and the Confederation, all unincorporated.

- You can focus your attention on trying to "reform" the impossibly corrupt, multi-layered system of corporate by-laws and corporate controls.....or you can instead focus on extricating yourself and reclaiming your original birthright political status as an Article 4, Section 2(a) Citizen under Public Law, and helping to rebuild our original, organic government on land and soil. The original, founding bottom-up structure of the real American Republican form of government went dormant after the chaos of the Civil War and has only begun gathering momentum as all 50 states of the union are rising up to rein back in our off-the-rails employees who have enjoyed many years of usurping our rightful powers.

- All conversations about the rampant evils of the democratic Oligarchy that is running rabid, pushing mandates and genociding the population through activities of pharma and three letter agencies really need to begin including the truth about "the government" to break people out of their illusions. The scope of the crimes against humanity that have been going on in the last three years is the direct result of the corporate framework and hijacking of citizenship over the last 160 years which has legally enabled it (legal is another corporate construct that exists only in that jurisdiction).

When we're talking about all that is misguided, we need to recognize that the big picture is much, much bigger than most people realize. For more information, go to tasa.americanstatenationals.org.

"The revolution that we seek must treat pharmaceutical companies differently than any other industry."

I beg to differ... and say instead... The revolution that we seek MUST treat CHILDREN differently. Full stop. Children grow into the adults we place into positions of power. WHO has been raising our current "leaders"? HOW were they raised???

The total neglect or trivialization of the childhood factor operative in the context of violence and the way it evolves in early infancy sometimes leads to explanations that are not only unconvincing and abortive but actively deflect attention away from the genuine roots of violence."
