Dear Republican elected officials: thank you *and* you need to do so much more
You're holding four aces, it's time to push all in
The size of the medical freedom voting block
PRIOR to coronavirus, I estimated that there were 9 million single issue medical freedom voters in the U.S. My math is straightforward — there are about 3 million children with autism in this country which means there are 6 million parents of kids on the spectrum and 12 million grandparents. 50% of them have identified vaccines as the culprit (50% of 18 million parents & grandparents = 9 million). When they vote, vaccine choice is the only issue that they care about.
Single issue medical freedom voters provided the margin of victory to Donald Trump in 2016. During the campaign, Trump had a respectful 45-minute meeting with many of our leaders where he listened and asked good questions. Meanwhile Hillary Clinton engaged in vile bigotry toward parents of vaccine injured children. And that was the difference in the election.
In 2020, single issue medical freedom voters provided the margin of victory to Joe Biden because many stayed home or voted for third party candidates because Trump abandoned us. Early in his presidency, Trump promised a vaccine safety commission and then chickened out. And Trump ushered in Operation Warp Speed to develop new vaccines without proper safety steps and this has been a health disaster. If you screw single issue voters they will return the favor on election day.
Now the number of single issue medical freedom voters in the U.S. is much much larger as millions of soldiers, fire fighters, police officers, teachers, doctors, nurses, and ordinary citizens have been coerced, bullied, threatened, and poisoned by the pharmaceutical regime. I imagine the number of single issue medical freedom voters has at least doubled (to 18 million) or tripled (to 27 million). The 12-point swing toward Republicans in Virginia and New Jersey in the recent gubernatorial elections hints at the size of this groundswell.
Single issue medical freedom voters will be the deciding factor in every election for the foreseeable future.
These voters do not have allegiance to either political party, they just want the freedom to make medical decisions for themselves free from mandates or any form of coercion. Neither Republican nor Democratic pollsters understand this voting block because they are unaware, they have never bothered to poll it, and it’s a relatively recent phenomenon.
The medical freedom voting block is up for grabs again in 2022
Generally speaking Republicans have done a better job than Democrats of standing up to the pharmaceutical industry during the pandemic. Governors De Santis and Noem actually follow the scientific evidence and have pushed back on federal mask and vaccine mandates. Nearly every Republican-majority state is suing the Biden Administration in connection with the illegal and unconstitutional OSHA vaccine mandate for companies with 100 or more employees. While Mitch McConnell continues to be a lackey for Pharma at the federal level, I am grateful for many state-level Republicans who have listened to their constituents and stood up for the principles of limited government and self-determination.
But I’m also frustrated that state level Republicans have not done more. Republicans are holding four aces and it is time to push all in. Yes, Republicans are going to sweep to victory in 2022 even if they do nothing but the margins would be so much larger if they do the right thing in the next 11 months. The four aces look something like this:
1. Fauci funded the creation of SAR-CoV-2 during the Obama administration in partnership with a Chinese bioweapons lab. This is the quintessential example of a government bureaucracy gone awry. Fauci is one of the most hated people on the planet right now (the mainstream media will not tell you this because they are captured by Pharma). Fauci is a millstone around Biden’s neck and Republicans should remind voters of this every single day.
2. Coronavirus vaccines do not work very well. After 473,243,228 shots administered in the U.S. over the past year, COVID-19 deaths are up and all cause mortality is up compared with 2020 when there were no coronavirus vaccines at all. “90% effective” is complete bullsh*t. The side effects are catastrophic. “Booster” doses every six months for the rest of your life is totalitarian genocide. Yet every time vaccines fail, Democrats double down and push for more failure. Republicans should pummel Democrats over these lies and point out that the pandemic will never end as long as Democrats are in charge.
3. Coronavirus is preventable and treatable with about twenty off-the-shelf antivirals. Early treatment is key and yet almost never available because hospitals continue to use the wrong protocols (hospitals are captured by Pharma too). Every study on the safety and efficacy of these treatments against coronavirus is provided (here). Republican states should make every one of these treatments available without a prescription (the FDA has clearly failed during this pandemic and so states should no longer recognize its authority to regulate prescription drugs). Republican states should make several of these treatments available for free to anyone who wants them. Florida has begun doing something along these lines under the extraordinary leadership of its new Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo. Every Republican state should copy Florida. If you want to win the next election in a landslide, stop the pandemic. You can stop the pandemic by using treatments that actually work.
4. Vaccine mandates are a way to purge Republicans from the military, fire departments, police departments, schools & universities, and the medical field — and give those jobs to loyal Democrats, many of whom will die shortly thereafter from vaccine-induced heart attacks, blood clots, and strokes. It’s diabolically clever for about five minutes then it backfires and the entire system begins to collapse (this has already begun). It’s the most audacious power grab by one political party in U.S. history and everyone knows this. The 30% to 50% of the U.S. population who have been mistreated in this way are furious and they are looking to Republican elected officials to fight for them.
So the winning strategy for the next 11 months is to pummel Democrats regarding Fauci and vaccine failure. Block any and all vaccine mandates and provide citizens with low cost treatments that work. And stand up and fight for every single person harmed by the illegal and unconstitutional diktats from the Biden administration (and Blue State governors).
Whoever solves the pandemic first will be rewarded by voters for a very long time. Democrats are welcome to follow this plan too if they wish, I just have not seen any evidence that they are capable of breaking from their Pharma Über Alles mindset.
Can someone please send this to Frank Luntz? Thank you. 🙌
Boy, did you ever nail this issue, Toby. Great reading, this. Thank you. I was a long time Dem until Obama the destroyer hit, and I will never vote blue again as long as I live. They’d have to become something they’re not for me to ever like them again. It’s truly outrageous what is going on in the world right now. We cannot allow the USA to become Germany, Austria, or “Austrafailure.” No way will we allow it!! One of my very favorite left leaning writers is the great C. J. Hopkins. He said today on a Max Blumenthal interview I saw, that he was glad America had their second amendment. The left-right paradigm is outdated now. We must unite to save our country.
