Many thanks for your review and critique! For the record, I see GloboCap (i.e., global capitalism) as a relatively new beast. People have been owning, buying, and selling things, and paying each other to do things, since the dawn of civilization, but never before has a single ideological power system (whatever we call it) had the ability to dominate the entire planet. I welcome all efforts to articulate that system and track its evolution ... and perhaps figure out how to get a handle on it before it destabilizes, restructures, and privatizes what's left of society into oblivion. All best, CJ

MONEY HAS REPLACED HUMAN VALUES

"We are faced with a breakdown of general social order and human values that threatens stability [and survival] throughout the world. Existing knowledge cannot meet this challenge. Something much deeper is needed, a completely new approach. I am suggesting that the very means by which we try to solve our problems is the problem. The source of our problems is within the structure of thought itself."

~ David Bohm (1981)

NOTHING will change fundamentally, until we fundamentally change the way we perceive and treat children. Until then, we will continue to see childhood adversity re-enacted upon EVERY aspect of society.

Furthermore, childhood adversity more often than not consists of imposing utterly INSANE societal standards of "normalcy" on children, to which they MUST conform, in order to survive, at a time when they are too young to understand and reject the madness being imposed on them.

***

“The total neglect or trivialization of the childhood factor operative in the context of violence and the way it evolves in early infancy sometimes leads to explanations that are not only unconvincing and abortive but actively deflect attention away from the genuine roots of violence."

Also this is very relevant here... as far as what we do and don't *know* about creating a *better* world for all..

“What I am saying is, there’s an emotional block. It’s not an existential block, we don’t need a stitch more research on what causes addiction. We don’t need one more bit of research on what causes violence, rape, psychopathic behavior, mental illness. We don’t need a stitch more research. I now that sounds like a radical statement in a society which is so research oriented and we’re whole intellectual industries, knowledge factories are based on having to gather more money for research to justify more jobs, to justify more papers, but I’m telling you, if we simply applied what we already know, if we simply do the lessons of what’s already been clearly shown, we would have a totally different world. So, even that need for more research is a factor of denial.”

First, let me say that I haven’t read the work in question., but I have a big problem with something that blames this whole worldwide mess on “global capitalism “.

Yes, there are supposed “capitalists” who want a monopolistic totalitarian future run by technocrat experts, but they have little to do with people who believe in real capitalism and fundamental natural rights (the origins of our form of government).

These supposed “global capitalists” really have there origins in 20th century progressivism championed by the left.

Totalitarianism is what the hard left really believes in. They think that they are smarter and morally superior to everyone else......and that those who disagree need to shut up (or be shut up) and do what their betters tell them.

Just because some of these people have used the capitalist system to get rich does not make them capitalists (mentally). All of them at least lean left in their politics and they are collaborating with leftists in government and NGO’s to impose leftist policies on the population.

We see it every single day.......

Those are fair points. All of our former political categories have gotten shaken up and thrown out the window over the last two years I think. There is a very good literature on "varieties of capitalism" that contrasts say Chinese capitalism vs. Russian capitalism vs. American capitalism. But given the way everything is globalized these days I'm not even sure those categories make sense anymore. I guess we just have to get really clear about our definitions of things.

I would love to get rid of the whole ‘globalism’ concept. I think it inevitably leads to consolidation of everything leading to a significant loss of national political sovereignty and freedom of the individual. Globalism will become a form of world wide fascism (government +big business monopolies working together). I cannot imagine a more depressing future......

These people aren't leftists by any stretch of the imagination.

They use cover of being "liberal" on "hot button" social issues (liberals are not leftists BTW) to disguise their fascistic leanings on all issues of importance. This veneer is used as cover for their venal opportunism.

You would have a hard time finding a single leftist or populist (not even Sanders) in the US government. They were expunged a long time ago.

Precisely right. The pursuit of power and wealth doesn’t respect the boundaries of left and right that they have deceived us into believing exist. They will say and do anything that they perceive will enrich and aggrandize them — they don’t care what it is.

This phenomenon is made worse by centralization. The people need to demand their government back, and do so on a local basis.

Expand full comment

I think it’s not so much the economic system itself as it is the venal types who come to dominate it. The old Soviet-era Russian joke was: “Capitalism is the exploitation of man by man. Communism is the other way around.”

Institutions live and die by the moral standards of the people who run them. Thus are we witnessing the destruction of academia first, as academics have ingrained moral relativism into their culture. Government and industry have followed closely.

There is no recovery as far as I can see. It’s going to crash.

From CJ Hopkins which closes RFK's book:

"There is nothing subtle about this process. Decommissioning one “reality” and replacing it with another is a brutal business. Societies grow accustomed to their “realities.” We do not surrender them willingly or easily. Normally, what’s required to get us to do so is a crisis, a war, a state of emergency, or … you know, a deadly global pandemic.

During the changeover from the old “reality” to the new “reality,” the society is torn apart. The old “reality” is being disassembled and the new one has not yet taken its place. It feels like madness, and, in a way, it is. For a time, the society is split in two, as the two “realities” battle it out for dominance. “Reality” being what it is (i.e., monolithic), this is a fight to the death. In the end, only one “reality” can prevail.

This is the crucial period for the totalitarian movement. It needs to negate the old “reality” in order to implement the new one, and it cannot do that with reason and facts, so it has to do it with fear and brute force. It needs to terrorize the majority of society into a state of mindless mass hysteria that can be turned against those resisting the new “reality.” It is not a matter of persuading or convincing people to accept the new “reality.” It’s more like how you drive a herd of cattle. You scare them enough to get them moving, then you steer them wherever you want them to go. The cattle do not know or understand where they are going. They are simply reacting to a physical stimulus. Facts and reason have nothing to do with it."

I don’t agree with Hopkins that this man-made machine is not evil. When the head of a worldwide organization (WEF) says, “You will own nothing and be happy” (Klaus); when his right-hand man says that they can genetically modify people at will and that transhumanism is a good thing so they can become “like God” (Yuval Noah Harari); when a pharma-captured organization pushes to be medically in charge of every country no matter the finer points of their Constitutions (WHO); when a self-made head of the world, who owns WHO and directs its puppet head Tedros, says we can “use vaccines to depopulate” (Gates of Hell), we are dealing with evil human beings.

"the coordinating mechanism driving the New Normal totalitarianism is the fact that the base determines the superstructure"

That base is the individual human psyche. And it determines the structure just as much as the structure determines the individual, in some way they are the same. The crazy human society is a large scale replica of our own individual craziness. The sooner this really sinks in the sooner we can find ways to heal, at both levels. And the core wound is around disconnect and related trauma.

I can’t help but see that this is all at the dark end of what you described. I’m aghast that so much of our policies since decades ago have become increasingly promoting death and barrenness.

From abortion to late term abortion, from end of life euthanasia to euthanasia for children and the mentally ill, from making space for same-sex relationships to the erosion of traditional marriage (evidentially the most beneficial space for the nurture of children), from treating unresolvable, long-term gender dysphoria to driving gender confusion and irreversible chemical and surgical castration among children (80%+ of whom would otherwise grow up comfortable with their biological sex), from covid-19 vaccines for the most vulnerable to covid vaccines against the original strain pushed on to kids, from hard-fought sex-based rights to the erosion of those rights in favour of regressive, socially-constructed gender-stereotyped, biologically male-dominated trans activism.

Something is seriously wrong here.

From my point of view it is that we’ve become a post-Christian society, starting decades ago. Atheist historians point out the embrace of Jesus’ values (often poorly lived out) led civilisations out of cruelty towards kindness. The departure from a Christian (faith and) ethic is leading us into a cruel descent back towards chaos - where we sacrifice people (most often women and children) to the “gods” of money, sex and power.

Paul, yes global end-of-world as we know it scenerios are biblical and provide clarity and understanding that they are spiritually motivated. Mankind has a real enemy (Lucifer) waging a warfare turning the nations against each other. He intends to destroy all of God's created humanity. His strategies have multiple fronts, convid being one of them. That's one reason its so hard for modern man to wrap his brain around what we have witnessed in the last 2+ years. This would become terminal if not for the return of Jesus Christ to end this madness.

Expand full comment

True. And I'd argue that, worldwide, we're becoming a post-God society. Not just Christianity, but all of the world's religions (which all have some version of a deity, the Golden Rule, and many other values) have failed to keep their followers focused on goodness. The hypocrisy of their leaders is one reason; politicization of belief is another; factionalism within each religion is another; and honestly, their leaders have just not focused on goodness. Sooo many religious leaders are looking to, of all ridiculous things, *politics* for their sermons -- on both sides! As if there weren't a million reasons we should stick with the original messages from all the prophets: kindness, generosity, faith, love. Duh.

What we are in the midst of is a planned total economic collapse. This economic collapse was inevitable, Western governments are putting the security infrastructure into place, trying to proactively control the inevitable social disorder which will result from this collapse. To be followed by a global financial reset, after a period of hyperinflation, which destroys both the value of debt and the corresponding paper claims.

There is not now nor has there ever been an epidemiological or viral emergency event of any sort anywhere in the world in the year 2020. The manufactured perception that there was such an event is an artifact of mass media manipulation, behavioral conditioning techniques and social engineering. All of this has been made possible through institutional programming and accelerated media messaging disallowing basic cognitive processes and eliminating critical thinking possibilities.

The collapse started in 2008 and attempts to salvage this corrupt economic system only delayed the inevitable. In the Fall of 2019 the crisis began to rapidly unravel again.

There was a dramatic decrease in industrial production which showed up in the banking crisis of August of 2019- the so-called Repo crisis when suddenly banks started to refuse US sovereign debt instruments as collateral of overnight loans forcing the Federal Reserve to step in and basically print money to cover this massive shortage.

The Repo market is where banks borrow money each day so that they have 10% liquid assets at the end of each day. If they do not have 10% liquid assets they are not allowed to open the next day. Around the middle of September the Fed started pumping $20 billion per day into the Repo market to keep interest rates down so banks could borrow the money to stay in business. By the end of December the Fed was pumping over $100 billion per day into the Repo market and it was not enough.

Simply everyone on Wall Street was loaded with enormous debt and was holding on to US cash to be able to service it refusing to finance purchases of foreign currencies and then US currency as Repo Market froze at 10% interest on overnight Repo loans as US treasury bonds and even US bills were rejected as collateral for Repos.

What happened in March 2020 was just the spread of the liquidity crisis from primary dealers markets (TBTF banks and Hedge funds were actually bailed out in September) toward all other stock, commodities, bonds CLOs, MBS etc, as well to Ponzi schemes called today ETF funds, not to mention structured derivative products traded on proprietary platforms nominally representing up to several thousands of $$$ trillions.

When US treasury bonds and even USTB became illiquid due to exponential growth of public (but most of all private) dollar debt while the FED was sucking up cash from financial markets by tempering QE (called QT ) between 2017 and 2019 reduced FED balance sheet from over $5 T to $3.9T by selling assets, all hell broke loose. Something drastic had to be done.

And hence the FED started to “buy all worthless shit for double the price”, Gates’s and Silicon Valley gang took over the media, and Orwellian shrinks and doctor Fauci-Mengeles came to the “rescue” unleashing operation COVID.

COVID phenomenon cannot be understood without understanding the un-televised 2019-2020 unprecedented financial collapse threatening the entire global financial system. The COVID fraud timing became necessary as the world markets were faced with an emergency debt crisis that popped up in formerly mostly liquid markets: Repo markets, money markets and FX markets.

The entire House of Cards was falling for six months and could not be stopped so COVID hysteria was manufactured to cover up what amounts today to $13 trillion of FED bailout in cash, stock boost via POMO and guarantees of value of collateral used in structured derivatives. The end game is that the central banks (Fed) will buy all the toxic, worthless debt from the hedge funds and banks, including the 1.5 quad trillion of derivatives, and then transfer the debt to the treasury as sovereign debt. Then print money to infinity to service the fictitious debt to sink the dollar via hyperinflation and then foreclose on the US and everyone else holding debt in worthless dollars.

That’s the coup. There will be global hyperinflation to vaporize the assets of the masses and the states- as soon as the ruling class mops up the last properties. What this means is the ruling class have limitless claims on everything in the world. Simply put, the seasonal coronavirus was rebranded as Covid 19 on the back of a redefinition of what a ‘pandemic’ was by the WHO at the bequest of its financiers. This unlocked access to financial incentive programs that were large enough to bail out every failing economy.

Covid 19 is the final heist to strip all value out of the world in an effort by the creditors to consolidate what they believe they’re owed.

This is not going to stop until people make it stop. These governments know full well that “Covid” is being used as cover for crashing the economies in the Western world. There is not now and never has been a “pandemic”- that is all Kabuki theater to disguise the reality of the rapid economic decline brought on by the Ponzi Schemes of financial institutions over the past few decades.

It is so small due to plummeting IQ, a pursuit of lucrative specialisation rather than broad knowledge, whole fields of education being windbaggy (ie. the humaities) so one may learn only 3 or 4 key concepts while reading 40 tomes, whole classes of intellectually irrelevant people posturing to prove their relevance... all happening concurrently with the bloating of professions so that they are stacked out with middlewits. Supply and demand is another powerful law of human behavior — every supply is, fundamentally, a response to a demand.

What fuels GloboCap? GloboMat — global materialism. In the rich nations, people seek trinkets as tokens of social status, they try to fill the God-shaped hole in their lives with junk — material possessions. When their spiritual cravings are not satisfied with their new sunglasses or their fancy car, they eventually find them selves trapped in the hell well known by the heroin addicted: all you need is more. They start into the vicious cycle of acquisitiveness, busying themselves in the pursuit of trinkets or sensation as a way of avoiding addressing their spiritual emptiness.

GloboCap dies as materialism wanes and as the new Renaissance, the return to God, the pursuit of truth, beauty and goodness — love — slowly progresses.

I think we are seeing, in the current mess, the beginning of the end of GloboCap. This may be the period of darkness before a new dawn.
