If I may Toby: I believe the feminist movement that really took off in the 60’s also coincided with more children entering institutionalized daycare; the stage was set for the powers that be to embellish it’s benefits. Educators working with young children are well aware of the importance of a child’s first three years, and their critical attachment to the family for optimal mental and physical development. That crucial window of opportunity was snatched away in favor of the dual earnings couple that still is the ideal today. Especially today when many have no option. That too I believe is intentional; they want to indoctrinate them young. The fallout from these economically and politically motivated decisions are what Dr. Gabor Mate refers to as those older kids being raised under an umbrella of damage control. I learned in my early childhood training that the window of opportunity is those first three years, and that seemed to me to be a small price to pay for well adjusted adults. My question always was: if you want children so badly, why the rush or the need to hand them over to those who have no way near the vested interest that you have, nor the abundant love. I could never have handed over my baby to a virtual stranger. Those three years just flew by and were some of the happiest. We need to rethink our need to throw babies into the arms of strangers.

Your analysis of the current state of affairs is bleak - but I’m sure quite accurate. However, at the same time these profit driven, self centered, diabolical forces are at play- there is also tremendous light coming through in the form of awakened individuals. Call me naïve, call me crazy, but I see miracles occurring every day. I see & feel their impact with new, innovative & heart centered methods of educating our kids, healing our bodies, growing food, building communities etc. Thank God the darkness has become front & center making the choice to pivot in the direction of the light much easier. As Albert Einstein said “you can live your life as if nothing is a miracle or you can live your life as if everything is a miracle“

For sanity sake (and because I believe it) I’m calling these dark times miraculous ✨
