I think a new metaphysics needs to include the substance that is common to all (whether it be energy, aether, plasma, frequency) AND this substance creates unique individual (not separate, individual) forms and the miraculous complex systems that make individuals interconnected.
Mark 5 25-26 shows us just how similar biblical times are to the time we live in today.
25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
Sound familiar?
Jesus fought this by healing others which made the doctors look inadequate and inappropriate.
We can fight this in our times by healing also, by treating the cause and reversing the disease process. It will bring wonder and amazement back to Christianity
Churches must become centres of reversing disease and healing, and the collection plate will only grow larger as word spreads. It would show that the church can do what doctors cannot, and lead to a new age.
The infrastructure and congregation already exist in large numbers, and in the absence of corruption in church leadership, would be a shining light of hope for many. This would certainly attract more to the flock, more to the collection plate, and more success in turning the tables on the allopathic drs that are cheating and robbing us of our health and lives for profit.
Toby, you included some great voices in your piece/call. I wonder if you’ve read theologian Walter Brueggemann who’s written about the prophetic and changing culture. His book, Prophetic Imagination, is worth a dive.

I think that APPLYING what we already know would take care of the "new metaphysics" as well.
We don’t need ANYTHING "new".
We already HAVE everything we could possibly need to thrive and create paradise on earth... I mean this quite literally...

As far as my base metaphysical beliefs, the theory of the universe posited by the entity known as Ra (channeled in the 1980s) has quite a bit of merit, in my opinion:
... I am of the strong belief that any metaphysical worldview that doesn't essentially boil down to, "Yes, God, but also, aliens" is going to be woefully incomplete. Meanwhile, any spiritual seeker who starts with those basic precepts is likely to find him or herself with an interesting journey ahead.

My awakening happened between 2016 and 2018 when I healed myself naturally from BC using prayer, lifestyle, diet, mind-body techniques such as meditation, future self journaling, and loving my body back into homeostasis. I also did 10 weeks of mistletoe therapy which is fever therapy.
I never met with a traditional oncologist because I didn't want to be nocebo'd. I knew what was possible (after reading Radical Remission) and I wasn't going to be sidetracked. I knew that my lifetime (45 years) of negative thinking and disempowering thoughts, being asleep to my innate power, and a lack of a relationship with GOD caused my dis-ease, which empowered me to understand that I could reverse it and heal myself.
I thank GOD for giving me a brave, curious, and open-minded spirit because with out that, I would not be here today. 🙏
I have seen what is possible and now I understand more than ever how their interventions are more harmful than helpful.
Toby - Instead of replacing one 'golden calf' with another, why not just tell the masses the truth -- there are no killer viruses they need to be vaccinated against?
I have been a spiritual seeker my whole life, and after many different roads of searching, I've found tge work of Kryon Lee Carroll to be the most comprehensive, inclusive, descriptive of reality, accurate, spiritually logical of all that i have investigated. Its not a new religion, but more a way of accessing and cultivating a relationship with the creative source individually in a way that honors the whole. The works have been ongoing since 1989 and I think it offers an avenue to explore the questions you are asking.
