Toby, another great article!! But, why stop with Pharma? I believe our “for profit” medical industrial complex is guilty as well. For instance, take mammograms...there are many false positives and women’s breasts are exposed to high amounts of radiation which can indeed lead to breast cancer. It’s even more problematic if you have dense breast tissue. But, women keep going every year to get these terrible “preventative” tests. There are very few alternatives though so what’s one to do? I haven’t had a mammogram in eight years because I am very weary that mammograms save lives.

Another example, if you have a heart condition, your cardiologist will most likely recommend a nuclear stress test. The amount of radiation that you are exposed to during a nuclear stress test is the same amount of radiation as 400 up to 1,000 chest x-rays depending on the meds they give you. In fact, there’s a nonprofit group that’s trying to raise awareness and get Cardiologists to quit prescribing nuclear stress tests because they’re over prescribed and due to the high amount of radiation exposure. There are other tests too that can cause harm but many procedures lead to more chronic illness and more profits for the medical industrial complex We need to question and research every procedure/test/pharmaceutical a Dr. recommends!

I have cured myself of afib by doing a deep dive into the research and alternative cures. I didn’t take the meds prescribed to me because one of the side effects was afib which made no sense to me. The best advice I have is stay away from Drs!
